The boring (but important) bits

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 June 2026

1. Who we are

Brixwise ("we", "us", "our") is an educational software tool that helps people analyse UK property investment deals. By creating an account or using the calculators, you agree to these terms.

2. What Brixwise is — and isn't

Brixwise is a calculator and learning tool. The numbers, verdicts, and explanations are illustrations based on the figures you enter. They are not financial advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell property, and not a regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

You are solely responsible for verifying figures, seeking professional advice (solicitor, accountant, broker, surveyor), and for any decisions you make.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and use a real email address.
  • Keep your password confidential — you're responsible for activity on your account.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer the service, abuse our infrastructure, upload unlawful content, or use Brixwise to mislead third parties (e.g. presenting our outputs as a regulated valuation or advice). We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans renew monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of the paid period. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits on property deals.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
